52 chevy truck

i Have a 52 chevy truck that i want to build in to a street rod. I would like to know what for front suspension to put under it. I was told to use a mustang front clip but i dont know what year to go get.

there are front clip kits available that use Mustang II components, get 1 of those, nova front ends are also popular. actully grafting the front clip from a mustang onto a full framed truck wouldn't be so safe.

I'm not saying that I have all the answers but you will get some ideas of what can be done fairly easily by going to my site (link below my signature). Click on the Chevy Pickup link on the left side of the page and you will be taken to my 53 Chevy pickup build. There you can see how easily a Mustang II IFS kit can be installed on one of these trucks.

I don't have GM control arms. I have GM disk brakes.

There are several manufacturers of Mustang II IFS kits around. My favorite is Heidts. You can purchase just a crossmember kit where you need to purchase all the other parts separately or a complete kit. If you shop around at swap meets and look for sales in the magazines you can purchase all the parts you need to go with one of Heidts crossmember kits and have a complete system for around $1200 now days.
