LOL. That is the advantage of having a cheap brake that won't do any better. I would have tried to use 16 gauge but 18 is all my brake can do. Remember each of these pieces start out as straight channels bent in the brake. On the flanged pieces I run them through the vise and take a hammer and sharpen the corners. The sharper the 90's are the easier it is for the shrinker/stretcher to move the metal but on the pieces that are just sweeping curves they will do fine. You can get the same effect with a good brake by moving the upper bar back a little.
