53 chevy rear brakes
does the drums come off on this car or do i have to pull the axle... 53 chevy 4door bel-air. this car has been sitting for the past 25 years. it's been brake day here in KS... thanks

just be aware there not cheap drums to replace. you can get them through www.chevsofthe40s.com
a cheaper way to remove the drums would be to cut the nails off the backing plate, they should come right off, with the shoes in them. |
