'53 Ford Windshield

Don't have a windshield myself - But, I have a friend in the glass business that says he can cut the windshield you need. Name is Dick Thiem, his company is Windshields Plus, phone Cell 888.288.3978, business 402.499.2229, FAX 402.944.3688 Address - 1750 Horseshoe Drive, Ashland, NE 68003. Website - windshieldsplus.net (Check out the late 40s Ford coupe he has for sale on the site!)

My name is Greg Larson, (52HEMI, on this site) Mead, NE Cell 402.480.4800

I've got a '52 Ford clb cpe with 392 Hemi, total 50's custom.

Keep those Blue Ovals rollin'!!!!!

Lexan is not legal to use for a windshield.......It has to be DOT approved.

Usually, you ask that question before you chop it! A good local glass shop is probably your best bet, because you'll be taking it back and forth to get your glass fitted for the car. If the glass is broken while cutting to fit the windshield the onus usually rests with the glass shop doing the cutting. If you bring in your own and the glass breaks, the problem is yours. Ford and Merc's usually had the same glass for that year.

When chopping a car, it is customary to fit the metal to the glass. Glass doesn't adapt well to off size holes. CRAAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!
