It's a 54 chevy 2 door sedan. It has the original inline 6 250. I was curious about the mods that can be done to this car.I've searched the internet high and low to learn what can be done to this inline six. Needless to say I am having no luck what so ever. So all you that no the little secrets to getting a few extra horses from this motor would be appreciated, also any info you have relating to after market parts. Any info is good info so please feel free to lend me a hand.

Your engine is a 235, not a 250 if it is the original one. There is a lot of speed equipment for that engine. I am in the process of building a hot 235 for my '53 Chevy pickup - milled head for 9:1 compression. 270deg hydraulic cam, aluminum cam gear, clean-up bore & new pistons, Fenton headers & 2" dual exhaust, Holley 600cfm 4-bbl on Clifford manifold, Offy aluminum side cover and valve cover, Chrysler electronic ignition, MSD 5 module, full flow oil filter, Stovebolt tranny adapter and 200R4 OD tranny. Here are a couple of the best sources;
Thanks for the links. Thats more information than I've found in the last 2 months. If I have any questions further on down the road I'll be sure to send you w/ a pm w/ all my questions, if thats fine w/ you. Thanks again for all your help.
