'54 Chevy truck hubs to five bolt??

Hi guys, A friend of mine wants to change his '54 Chevy truck hubs to five bolt. He thinks that '54 passenger car hubs will fit. Can anyone confirm this or point us in the right direction? Thanks in advance, Rod

Yes ...
a direct bolt on.

I have done it many times in the past 35/40 years.

Make sure it is a 3100 half ton, will not work on a 3600 3/4 ton. Jim

It doesn't have to be 54 to 54, 49-54 Chevy passenger car will work.

Not 48 thru 53, 49 thru 53.

chevy truck hubs

Hey MARTINSR, Sorry for the fat-finger on the '48. I knew it was '49-'53. Thanks for your concern. Rod

I have a chevy truck front axle (51 iirc) with 5 lug drums, and springs too. I was going to make a gasser. I'd sell it if you want it.
