54 Chevy Truck to S-10 chassis swap

Hey Guys;
Hopefully someone has an input. ....I spent last night trying different heights of body mounts on this swap. All the articles I've read, the owners add 3-4 inches of body lift, then they drop spindle and airbag the chassis to drop the trucks super low. I'm not interested in bagging it, I just want a lower "daily driver" truck with a good ride (I'm not wanting the running boards on the ground, too much hassle with speed bumps ands curbs). Is there any problem just using about 1 1/2" body lift. This gives my fenders and running boards 6" of ground clearance, with just the addition of a small tranny hump. It seems like the ride quality would be better without the spindles and spacers with no air compressor hassles, and my center of gravity is now a lot lower. Thanks, in advance.

Sounds good.If no clearance issues go for it, the more stock you can leave the suspension the better.
