54 F100 Trans issues.
Hi I've been looking on the site and there is alot of good info.One thing I can't find is if I put the 5.0 from a (89-93) mustang. What am I going to need to do to put the tranny in?? As far as cutting and cross members..Thanks.... Any info on making the engine swap easier will be great too ..

I usually get the universal style motor mounts from Speedway for one of those swaps..as far as trans mount is concerned it for the most part just takes a small piece of steel that is drilled to mount to the trans and welded to the existing cross member once the engine and trans is set in and the motor mounts are done that the trans mount becomes a no-brainer..Ford performance has the stand alone ecu if you need one and get the rest of the harness from the donor car if you can..
