my great uncle is giving me a 54 ford 350 dually dump he has had for about 30 years or so
its been sitting parked not running for a long time but it does run good ill have to change oil(did these have an oil filter?) and put in new gas and battery and clean the points and the old 239 will run again
anyways are these trucks 6 volt and are they neg or pos grounded?
if 6 volt then can i convert it to 12 volt very easily or do i have to swap starter and alternator out? what about the distributor? not worried about dash and guages stuff
also how do you improve the oiling of the rocker arm shafts i read that this was an issue with these y blocks starting in 54 and that you have to run tubes from the oil pump to oil the shafts better somehow?
how do you do this?

its rough shape but can be used again but im not really sure what to do with it really other than make it run and park it until i figure out something hmm
