55.1 Chevy Cab Corners

So, I get my truck back from the body shop this weekend. I had it blasted, one rear corner replaced and one interior cowl replaced. Overall the whole thing was in good shape to begin with. I am thinking I want to treat or fill the corners with a coating to help protect them. I also want to treat the bottom of the cab. I was thinking of trying the rubberized roof coating for mobile homes but do not know if paint will stick to it.
Has anybody else tried this or have any other ideas????? I am kinda on a budget just spending $$$ on body work and in the middle of building a new home.

building products have no place in auto restorations. if you fill the corners they will rust before you get out of the drive way. blast and epoxy.

Use a good automotive EPOXY for the first coating , SPI being my preference.

It will be coated with an epoxy primer when I get it back. I am not trying to fill up the corners, I was wondering if an additional coating would help protect it and create a sound barrier.

A spray on bed liner over the epoxy is a very popular choice for what you are wanting to do. A lot of guys use SPI bedliner with great results.
