55-59 chevy truck 6 lug discs?

hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster. i just got a 57swb, and want to see if anyone knows of a way to do a cheap front disc swap on these trucks. ive been searching forums, but have been unable to locate any info regarding a factory part interchange for this. i plan on subframing the truck next winter, but i want to re do all the brakes for now, so i can enjoy it this summer. also, im assuming the 70's-late 80's 6 lug wheels are the same pattern? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, william.

nissan parts

I saw a post a while back somewhere for the conversion on earlier years. the guy used nissan 4 X 4 rotors, with the chevy hubs ,they are 6 lug the same as chevy and made his own caliper brackets/ I don't know if the 70's blazer caliper plate would work. there is a kit that will work on my 41 pu but used 5 bolt rotors I don't know if that caliper kit would work.

full size k5 blazer is same as pickup and burb

6 lug was last in 1970 on 2wd trucks

there are no 6 lug 2wd disc trucks

any 6 lug 2wd rotors are aftermarket only, as none were built factory

all '71-up are disc and are 5 lug, in 2wd form

4x4 rotors wont work on 2wd spindles

GM full size trucks burbs blazers panels pickups:

6 on 5.5" pattern

and 5 on 5" pattern
