I can tell you guy's are just what I was looking for so thanks in advance. The only problem I have with the straight front end is safety. My brother had this truck(Chevy) before me I had the GMC. One day back in 77-78 he was passing a car and was running around 90 when it started to shake real bad(he didn't know the right side of the front end had come loose) when he hit the brakes the axle slid back and shot him towards a guardrail. He drove 5 mph back home and parked it,it has never been driven since. Has this happened to anyone else? Jim
