Fianally!

Well I got the '59 Apache up on the lift today to see what was up with a puddle of transmission fluid underneath and found 3 leaks but all on the outside. It doesn't look like I'll have to open it up. What is the consensus on switching out the original drum brake assembly for an outfit that will stop the truck and smooth out the ride a bit? I think I'm ready to light the candle. Also anybody got a radiator suggestion? I have a small leak in the original one also. thanks

put some color on it and see if you like it.

It looks different for sure! There's an aspect of it i like! I think I am going with a different body color, likely Black, so trying to imagine what it would look like and I am thinking good! Nice idea! Thanks!

I have one from Brothers Trucks in my 58.It is a modern 3 core radiator in stock brackets and you can get a shroud for it too.I run a 427 big block and have had no overheat issues even when I go to Las Vegas in the summertime.

When I get home the wife has a honey do list waiting for me

Not to worry I've got my own list of projects for the '57 but the '56 is on the lift now and wants service and brakes.

Upper Radiator Support Panel

Does anyone know where I can find the rad support panel? I hope I'm calling it the correct name. I have a 57 Truck and I have the normal panel that houses the hood latch. What I'm looking for is the panel that bolts to that and to the rad support bar.

Converting from my drum brakes to disk

What are the best realistic options for converting my 59 Apache's original drum brakes to a good disk brake system and also coil spring suspension? I've already settled in on adding rack an pinion steering so is there a package somewhere that does it all at a reasonable price? thanks for your help

Check out LMC Truck http://www.lmctruck.com They have the upper grill bar, the latch panel and the Rad support panel and just about anything else you need.

Thanks but I checked LMC, Classic Parts, Ecklers and a few others. I'm beginning to think this part isn't sold by anyone.

Here's what I'm after and how it bolts on. Hope I'm calling it by the correct name.
