The pic on the left is after the guy I sold it to rolled it. the pic on the right was taken just after I got it finished , later it had chrome spoke wheels and a yellow rollbar with KC lights. Now my wife and I want to build another one like it.

Do anyone have a complete list on bolt sizes if I'm planning on going back with all stainless without buying a kit for a 57 stepside and thanks in advance for your replies.

I can't imagine buying a kit for a whole pickup , I buy my fasteners from the Bolt Depot as I need them and they have great prices. I use stainless button head allen bolts.

EDIT

Ogre... did i see you put your battery in the cab??? doesnt that pose an issue with hydrogen gas from the battery charging? I am still trying to figure out where to put my battery when the truck comes out of paint (hopefully this weekend)

read my interior thread all the way thru, you will see i did not use a mold for any part, everything i made is free form one off.
i learned to fiberglass from reading that site, my interior is my first fiberglass project.
no skill just unlimited tenacity
i read a lot of build threads for 6 mths before i started mine.
the site used to be very active, it's gotten a lot slower the last yr or so but it is still up and running.
try to register tomorrow, if it doesn't work pm me with your email address

thanks bro,

it still isn't working, i sent you my info

did i read right that you put your battery in the cab? does it vent to the out side, how did you deal with the hydrogen gas build up? I was thinking about putting it in the cab and trying to build an enclousure, I dont want to pay $100 for a drop down box, i welded up a battery frame for the frame rail but then it is damn near impossible to change/work on, just gotta figure out where/how to mount it.

Also im putting everything back in, what grounding straps do you actually need, engine to body and engine to frame, can i just put the neg battery to the frame?
