55 Caddy needs springs, good time to lower?
I realized last weekend while under my caddy working on an unrelated issue that my left rear leaf spring has broken 3 of its leafs. So, I need to replace my leaf springs obviously, and since the time has come to replace 'em, I figure the time has come to lower the back end a couple inches.
I don't want to do anything extreme, I don't want a full-on taildragger, but I would like to replace it with springs that will still ride like stock & sit just about 1-2 inches lower than it currently does. Anybody know where I can get the right springs & shocks to do it? Seems like a relatively easy task since I'm changing springs anyway.

springs
Posies might be able to help. They have lowered springs for some cars.

Thanks for the tip. They can build me springs for around $550 + shipping but it's a long turnaround time, like 8-10 weeks...I'm really hoping not to be off the road for that long if I can help it...
