I am wanting to change out my stock rear end on
my 55 chevy and replace it with a 9" ford with 4 link coil over. I have a hot 406 sb that I'm dropping in and I was wanting to get as much traction as possible. I know I will have to narrow the rearend to except 10" wheels that I would like to install. My car is a street rod and I dont want make the ride to uncomfortable. Am I going in the right direction with all this? If so any suggestions on installing a 4 link coil over on a 55 chevy |

You can move your leaf springs in with a spring relocation kit. That way you won't have to cut the car up. All you need is a couple of inches to fit the 10" tire. It's alot cheaper.
