55 chevy bumper guard acc.
i have a 55 with a bumper guard on rear of car looks factory but i have never seen one before.looking for help to find out if it is a aftermarket piece or off another brand. here is a discription,1 inch tube bolted to ends of bumper coming up to bumper guard extensions at an angle,then straight across between guard extensions. stamped in round balls on top of bumper guard extensions are vanwaugen inc. detroit. any help identifing thanks.

i am not an expert but i cant recall ever seeing anything like you describe if i speak to any one who has i will let you know good luck
