"55' chevy door skin?
My door on my 55 is in very good condition, except the outer skin. It shuts very well, great alignment,ect. Can one change just the skin ONLY? If so where can one get a replacement skin? Thanks! DY

Yes, changing a doorskin is reletively simple. Just cut the other door skin off, clean off the inner door edges of the old outer doorskin, slip the new on, clamp it, spot weld it, take off the clamps and finish welding it on just like you would any other sheetmetal being carful not to get it too hot so not to warp it. smooth out any dings from the shipping process seal and paint
 My buddy Madd Syntst will be glad to give you the heads up on the right places to get your truck stuff, he has two, a nice flatbed and a up and coming panel  HK
