55 chevy drop spindles
I am rebuilding the front end on a 55 chevy sedan delivery.I have put in new ball joints and all bushings inthe a arms The car came with 2" drop spindles. I put the coil springs in and when I hooked up the spindles they rub on the front of the lower control arm. I have 55 nomad that I rebuilt and I looked at it and there was a 1/2" gap between the spindle and control arm. Could someone tell me what they think the problem is. I appreciate any coments. Bob

Were the spindles on the car before the suspension rebuild? Can you post a picture of the rubbing location?
