55 chevy glass setting channel gasket
I had Broken the drivers window on my 55 chevy 2dr sedan .I ordered a new setting channel gasket fron DanChuck. But what they sent me is real different from what I toke out . All I toke out was a flat rubber gasket that was siliconed into the widow channel . What they had sent me is much thinner and is very sloppy in when sitting in the channel and it also has about a 2 inch flap that hags offthe side and I have no idea if that should be in or out So can someone instruct me on this smal problem I have Thank you Chris

Hi I have just been working on my windows and this could be like mine .My car is a 52 chev and the rubber bit you are talking about sounds the same .I'm in the process of making my windows 1piece ,I think thr 2in rubber bit might have something to do with the water draining away.Hope all this makes cents Yours in rodding KIWI
