I just got in a 55 Olds rear last night for my car; if you need measurements or pic from it???

A friend put one in his 55 and he claims it fit well.

55 chevy rearend swap

71 - 79 camero or trans am on the swap
a 58 olds will be basically the same as you have ,but hard to find parts for them.
i welded spring plates on a 67 olds in my 57
with a 3:90 posi in it
but i'm going 84 vette rear now
if you got a high torque motor ,you need the olds or 9 inch ford
or you will be ripping out the rear again .
