looks like a nice job so far. That is a interesting set up on the rear frame. I have a 64 short bed that I did 7 years ago with air ride on the rear using a 10 bolt posi narrowed with two ford short side axels aftermarket long panhard bar front and rear stablizer bars and a fat man bolt in mustang II front end the truck steers like a sport car I will send some pic as soon as i figure out this new camera. the latest project is a 55 short bed this will be a rat rod project and will be bracket raced as well the 64 has been runner up at the Rock and race three day meet and nostalga races and street eliminator several times as well I like to build em strong and run em hard. I am hope the camero sub frame is not to wide but Ialso have a nova but it has drum brakes and would have to be changed over but I suppose the camero brakes would fit the nova sub frame now that I am ret. I hope to have more time for these projects

Here's the front track of Camaros. Measure the front track (centerline of one front tire to the centerline of the other front tire) of your truck and make a decision.
58.7 -- 67-69 Chevy Camaro
60.4 -- 70 Chevy Camaro
61.3 -- 76-80 Chevy Camaro Z-28, Pontiac Trans Am TA

And Nova...
59.8 -- 68-74 Chevy Nova

Here's an alternative that seems to be popular...

58.5 -- 78-86 Chevy Monte Carlo, Malibu, El Camino, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix

Canopener, here is a pic of my 56. It has a 86 Monte Carlo sub frame. as you can see the front wheels sit in farther so it can be lower without rubbing as bad when turning. It is harder to do than the Camaro or nova front end but worth it if that is the look you want.
