Post re: 55 POWER RACK

if i were you i would toss the entire frontsuspension. relpaceing it with either an opel/vauxhall commodore front suspension (bolt in) that can be upgraded with rack and pinion from an E30 BMW, or buy a complete mustang 2 frontsuspension (weld in) from the classifieds on www.mustangii.net i payed 300 usd for mine including power rack. shipping to europe is about 100£

if you widen the mustang unit, just drill new holes for the rack and pinion, and fabricate some spacers to bolt on between the inner steering-ball joints and the rack it self. that way geometry is retained. all you have to do to it is weld it in, and put on discs drilled for chevy boltpattern Oh yeah, you get discs aswell this way
