55 Rearend swap

What 10 Bolt rear ends fit a 55 Chevy?
Without narrowing. Measure 60 inches out side of hub.

A Nova rear is about the same width.

Why do you want to switch...I prefer the 55-64 rears.

10 Bolt Rear End

I have a 10 bolt in my 57 pickp. It is from a Gen 2 camaro which is 60.5" wide. I wanted a 10.5 " since they are stronger then a 10.2". The reason I changed my rear end from the original was so I could get a rebuild kit, posi traction, and 373 gears.

Take a look at this site for a grear reference:

I also went with TCI's leaf spring upgrade kit. Check out my home web site for pictures of my project.
