56 Chevy Body Question
How much longer are the doors off of a 2-door 56 chevy than the front doors off of a 4-door 56 chevy? I need exact measurements. Anybody have a clue? Also, are the cabs of a 2-door and 4-door different sizes or is it just the doors?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I have a few myself. "Exact" can be a pretty hard number to come up with being it isn't a perfect square or something like that. So what I want to know is, why do you need this exact number?
The two door is going to be considerably longer like say three or four inches. The body is of course going to be different as well. Brian

56 Chevy
I'm converting my 4-door to a 2-door. Can't find any 2-door doors so I need to extend my 4-door doors to the same length as the 2-door doors. Wow, say that 10 times real fast.

I say keep looking for the two door doors, there are tons out there. Get them, THEN start your modifications to the body.

Do you know what other cars would have the same doors as a 56 chevy 2-door? In case I can't find any 56 doors.
