56 Chevy Pickup Grill swap
Hi, I'm Hairy and I'm new to the forum.
This seems like the place to be judging from all I've read so far. I am trying to buy a 57 Chevy Pickup, and I have always loved the 55/56 grill. Does anyone know if the grill from a 55/56 Chevy Pickup be swapped into the place of the 57 grill without a lot of trouble? I appreciate any info I could get. Thanks, Hairy |

It will bolt in except for one problem. There is a flat spot on the front of the fenders that has to be fixed. It is kindof ugly because there is a fat section in the fender on the flat spot. I did the swap on the truck in my album and just fiberglassed the spot on the fenders. It has lasted 10 years, but I would have probably used metal if I did it again.
