56 Chevy Qa1 Suspension Ride Height Question

I am restoring a 56 chevy sedan. Estimated weight will be anywhere from 3700 to 4000lbs. I am installing QA1 Drag race adjustable coilovers rated for 4000lb vehicles. I am setting up my vehicle at a specific ground clearance but won't have the weight of the vehicle on the suspension to find out what my actual ground clearance will be. For example, if I'm setting my vehicle and all suspension up for 4" ground clearance, after there's actual over all weight of the vehicle on the suspension, what will be my ground clearance be now? How much more will it drop?

there is an installed height for the shocks...distance between upper and lower mounting points...fab mounts to that distance...when vehicle is done, adjust spring adjusters to achieve that same measurement. if you cant get that same measurement, you will need to go to a different spring rate. ground clearance will still be the same as long as you have figured in actual axle center lines due to tire squish when loaded.

Make sense?.....let me know if you need more help
