56 chevy truck disc brakes without a conversion kit
Does anybody have any idea if there is any disc brakes that I can track down that will fit my front end? I dont want a conversion kit or a IFS, I want to do it the old school way. Im just fine with the axle front end. It was rebuilt before I bought the truck and does its job just fine. The brakes on the other hand suck doggie doo.

Speedway Motors sells a kit for $250. It includes the adapters to roller bearings also.
I dont think you can put one together yourself any cheaper. You will also need a dual master cyl and replumb the lines.
