56 Olds Rear End Tear Down
I have a rear axle from a 56 Olds that has a stuck center section. The wheels turn when there is no load on them but it will not turn with the weight of the car on them.
I have pulled the axle assy out and would like to remove the center section to see/fix the problem. What is the process for removing the center section? It appears the axles have to come out first. How do the axles come out? |

I just got a job today changing the 3rd member in a 56 Olds. He has a junkyard one that I need to pull apart and check over, then install. Thanks for the info on where to get parts.
