I did a clay test for clearance and there was no clay left between them. Does anybody have a idea on what size cam I should run? Tri-Five guys please help me out. My bore is a 3.875" and my stroke is 3"
Thanks again!

You will need at least .085-.100 clearance on the piston to valve. Either cut piston reliefs or get a smaller lift cam.
And you are saying you punched a 265 (3.750 bore) to a 283 (3.875 bore)?
