57 4dr Fairllane

Just bought 57 pulled off gas tank 30lbs of thick sap 3 holes in tank. Motor has tag that it was rebuilt. Mileage on car is only 42000. Baby blue and white. V 6. Single barrel holly. New to doing major car stuff. Where do I start

After you get this:1957-58 Ford Car Steel Fuel Tank - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop you will want to replace the metal lines from the tank to the Carb that same gunk in your old tank is those lines too.

57 Fairlane to build up with Windsor 302

Ok with the tank cleaned lines with some seafoam and air compressor seem clean but you feel replace. What about pump keep mechanical or go electro and I'm thinking of putting a Lincoln Towncar. 302 Windsor in what do u think

I would replace the lines probably will run you less than $30 total.As far as the fuel pump goes that will depend on your plans if you use the Lincolns EFI or if you stay "traditional" and go with a regular intake and Carburetor, your choice will also have some bearing on the lines you run.Sending you a pm to check out.
