57 chev 3100 camber issue

What causes excessive camber with the original straight axel? I just noticed this on my truck I recently purchased. The kingpins are good, has disc brake conversion. I know the leaf springs need new pins and bushings. Is that my cure? I'm adding PS to it now, and will also need some alignment specs.

You have to bend a straight to get the excessive camber out to correct it. But you need to know what you are doing cause it can and is a very dangerous process IMHO. Or well that's how we use to do it anyway.

The axle needs to be bent to adjust camber. Shoot for 1/2 degree negative. Any serious alignment shop or one that does big trucks should be able to fix you up.
