Post 57 chev chassis swap

I have a 57 chev and a complete 86 corvette front chassis with all hardware engine, trans, steering, brakes, rearend. I want to add the whole works under the 57 by cutting off the front chassis and welding on the vette front chassis and addeing the rear out back. Has anyone seen this done before? I think it will work. There are mods to be made for the front support mount for sure. What do you guys think?

Take LOTS of measurements and write them down ! Horizontal AND verticle. Determine what you want to end up with LONG before you light the torch. Get extensive measurements from a 'Vette front end that's identical to your 'Vette front end. Pay close attention to angles of A-frames and their pivots...side to side and front to back. Heights are important. Don't measure a 'Vette that's got bogus, aftermarket wheels and/or tires. You can screw that up later.
