Post 57 Chev disc/power brakes

I am in the process of hot rodding my 57 2dr post. It will have a 396cu in and a 700R4 tranny. To have it all work well I would like to upgrade my brakes, rear end and steering.
My question is: are there any "bolt on" choices for disc breaks and a power steering and column that I can "borrow" from a latter chev car?
If I can find those parts form newer vehicles it would make my life a lot easier. I know you all have bult 57 chevy's before so I would appreciate any help you can come up with. Thanks.
