A dropped axle is way better....and safer.....The perches on the axle are designed to be bolted the way they are now

Thanks poncho ,i need as much guidance as i can get. I ve got the front clip off of it ,with a 55 one ready to go on.The 283 is just sittin there .It'd be a great time to put a camero sub clip under it. I'm not familiar with this forum, can I find a build thread someone has already done...thats idiot proof. I mean with the sub frame change.Any knowledge offered will be greatly appreciated . Thanks.

There are a number of guys that have done a clip...I put a Nova clip under my 51 Ford F1....Did it 20 years ago and it has worked well since....still driving it.

Best advice I can give on it is....measure, measure, measure before cutting.
