Look for an older pickup truck bench seat, like 70's or 80's. They would be narrower side to side than newer seats and should fit your panel truck.

Is it a bench or buckets?
You can adapt the passenger side seat mechanism for a early 90's Ford Ranger extended cab.
When the seat back is tilted forward, it releases the seat track and the whole seat moves forward.
Move the seat back into its normal position and slide the seat back and it latches at its previously adjusted position.
Take a bit of work, but might give you what you want.
