59 plymouth exhaust?

I have a friend who just purchased a 59 Plymouth Fury as a project car. Someone has already installed a 440/727 into the car with some home made headers that have been brazed together, not to mention they built them without thinking about sparkplugs. There is no way to get plugs into it. So the question is would a mopar B/E-body header fit this car with the stock steering box? Trying to keep costs low, so sanderson headers are out of the question, and factory manifolds are always an option.

If no one comes up with a suggestion on what to use
just buy some somewhere that has a good return policy
then gently test fit them
maybe put something on them (wrap tubes in paper bag?) so you dont beat them up testing them

Factory manifolds will leave 50 hp on the table compared to a good set of long tube headers in my opinion.
Here's what I'd do:
Call up Holley (they own Hooker) technical line....
Holley Performance:
270-781-9741 between 8 am and 6 pm CST Monday - Friday, and between 9 am and 3pm CST on Saturday.
Ask them which one, if any, of these B/RB headers will come closest to fitting....

Use stock manifolds if you have a tight budget. Get some of these headers if you can afford it. Probably slide right in with no mods. Bolted a set on my 64 fury without having to lift the motor or remove the starter.
