59 vette rear end ratio?
Hi, have 59 vette, rear end ratio seems real high, think guy before me put in whatever, Have 3.36 I can put in, can't remember proceedure to get ratio in car, block one wheel, count turns of drive shaft to get one rev. of tire? Am only getting 1 3/4 turns!
Car seems to have pretty close ratio 4 spd,

You need to double that 1 3/4, since you have a wheel blocked. Probably 3.55s....good gear. I have that in my 51 truck. I like it anyways.
