6.0 into a Camaro

Hi, I am looking to pull a 6.0 out of a truck and place in my 73 Camaro. I need to identify block. Any idea of casting #'s ?
Tom

A 6.0 engine works out to 366 cu in....If it is a 366 BB Chevy truck engine, you are going to be very disappointed......They are a low revving truck engine designed for dump trucks

Hopefully somebody will chime in here with some good advice, I have NO clue about the newer generation GM engines at all, and am a bit curious.
What exactly IS the main tell-tale differences between the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 engines from the outside if much of any at all?

As far as the old truck 6.0/366 engines go, I don't remember too much about it in stock form, and don't remember ever hearing of anyone swapping cranks and heads and modifying one, not to say it hasn't or can be done, I just don't remember it.

I don't have casting numbers but you're looking for an LQ4 or LQ9.

If you're just looking for a block, I think it has the displacement cast on the right rear of the block.

got an 02 6.0 block on the stand right now. it has "6.0" cast into the front left side in numbers an inch or so tall, but likely the water pump may hide them if you're looking at a complete engine
