1st time posting here, so please be gentle with me. I'm trying to change my 1970 GMC 1/2 ton from 6 lug axels to 5 lug passenger car axels to get a 4 3/4 inch wheel pattern, so I can use some Corvette Rallyes I've got lying around. I seem to remember the 10 bolt axels from a Chevelle, GTO, 442 are exactly the same, but don't know fer sure. Truck axels won't do me any good, cause they're on a 5 inch center, and my buddy's suggestion that I drop the body on a later frame won't fly, cause this is just a driver I'm useing till my 57 shortbed rolls out of the garage. Anybody out there have a Hollander book, or know what the deal is, or do I spend my golden years driving the guy at the wrecking yard crazy? Thanks in advance
