6 speed transaxle that will work with 350 Chevy

So Im about to start a new project building a Lambo kit car. Going to be using a 350 Chevy engine. The kit car body works on a mid engine car they recommend either the Pontiac Fiero or Toyota MR2. Id like to use a 6 speed manual transaxle. I realize some modifications will be required but does anyone know of a transaxle that will work? I read of the GM F40 being used on a Fiero V8 conversion however they were using the Cadillac Northstar engine. Any suggestion on what tranny to use?

a lot of the kit supercars use the porsche G 50 Axle; but I dont believe that will work for you. Dont cannibalize a Pantera; its so much better than any wannabe italian kit car. What do the Mid engine v8 Corvair builds use

So I was able to find out that they make a kit to convert a Pontiac G6 transaxle to the 350 when putting it in a Fiero.
