60 Galaxie disc brake upgrade

Hello, first post here.

What later model Ford spindle and disc brakes work on a 60 Ford Galaxie? I have been unable to find any information on the 60-64 chassis.

Thank you for any and all information.

Thanks.

Salvage yard Ford stuff is available for $100 complete so I am trying to avoid paying several hundred dollars for an aftermarket kit that is no better.

well good luck but remember there is no late model brakes which bolt right up so good luck plus you might need to get new wheels for the front disc brakes

To keep it all FORD, look to the late eventies intermediate (BIRD-TORINO) spindle changeover.
