600 cfm Holley

My car had a small firer from a backfirer. The carb is not showing any fire damage. the one shop I had look at it sead you can't rebild it. has any one had this happen to them???

A holley 600 is rebuildable.

What did they saed is destroyed in manner sos that it is non rebuildable?

Need more information. Also I can't understand your spelling/ grammar very well. Give us more information on what happened, and maybe some pictures. A Holley can be re built, unless its destroyed to the point of no return.

The shop sead that any time a Holley has a fire the fire will get inside. and Holley will warp out of shap. Sorry I dont have any pics right now. BUT if I didn't tell you there was a fire you wouldn't know it. I will try to get pics up soon. Thanks for your time. Brendan

A small fire happened or a back fire. I cant see warped metering plates. Even if, they are easily replaceable.

This is a good time to take it apart , check it yourself with a straight edge.

I looked inside the carb. its all melted A friend sead I can use his till a get one of my own. Thanks for all your help eveyone. Brendan
