605 Box in 46 Ford Sedan

I ordered a 605 power steering box for the 46 Ford Sedan I'm working on. Now that I have the SBC installed, and 350 trans. There isn't much room for the steering box. What exaust manifolds, or shortie headers will work? Do I have to return the 605 box for another one. If so what's recomended? I forgot to mention. It has a 4" droped axle, and I split the wish bone on the stock frame..

I have a really nice 605 box, a 12:1 version, REALLY wanted to use it, but wouldn't fit with any combination of inside the frame headers. I went with a Saginaw 122/525, blockhuggers will work, rams horn center dumps will to, depending on how good your exhaust guy is.

Go with fenderwell headers (Speedway/Patriot $169).

The only problem with them is that you can't use a tire taller than 26" up front.

Thanks you Hoodlem......LOL

I just got off the phone with Borgeson. They said I could return the 605 box for the Siginaw 525 box. The customer wanted power steering. How does it feel with the Siginaw box? He's not going to have a real small steering wheel.

With a 15" wheel, 7" pitman arm and bias plys, I can turn it without too much trouble standing still, but it is sitting on a polished concrete floor, so we'll see soon enough in the real world.
