61 chev rear end

hello, i'm a new member in need of some guidance. 1'm tearing down the rear end of my 61 impala to replace old 336 gears with 370's, everything going smoothly so far, any advise on re-instillation of the axle's, 1 made myself a gear puller to snatch them out, will they go back in without force once splines are lined up. any advice will be appreciated

You shouldn't need a puller to get them out. The outer part of the bearing shouldn't be too tight. A slide hammer would work great.

hey should slip right back in too.
