61 chevy 1/2 ton rear axle
Can anyone tell me the correct distance between the axle perches on a 61 1/2 ton rearend. I am putting an '85 truck rear and front end in the truck. I got the truck without the rearend so I can't measure it. Any help would really be appreciated.

Control arm brackets are 40 & 3/8 inches apart (CL) for 60-66 1/2 ton. Brackets are on the underside of axle tube and ANGLED inward towards the front whereas '73-'87 are on top and parallel.
Hope this helps. . . . "Dollars are like votes, except that they actually count." |
