61 chevy pickup questions?

I have a 61 chevy pickup that has a hillbilly lowering job. I don't know the factory specs and was wonderin if anyone could recomend a proper lowering heigth. I would like to continue to run my fat 50's on the rear because I need the biggest footprint I can get with the 472 in it

Ive got a 62 pickup in our shop right now. What measurements are you looking for (from ground to where)? I can measure it tomorrow.
