61 Vette power steering
I have a 61 Vette with manual steering (of course). However, an old fart like me likes power steering and I would like to convert. Many people have told me it can't be done. We can put a man on the moon, but I can't put power steering on my 61???? Anybody have a good solution for me? No, I don't want to build up my forearms in the gym. ...Deaner

steering
the conversion depends on stock or hot rod? i have a 54' chevy and your steering is the same as mine.corvette had old style front end, same as 49-54 chevy car up to 62'.i have a gm center steer i am installing on my car and getting rid of old steering crap! you don't even need power rack& pinion standard is a 100 times better.plus try and find the pump, pulleys and brackets for the short water pump(early).the center steer is where the tie rods mount at the middle of rack body instead of the ends like mustang-2 a little fabrication and your set good luck!
