62 Chevy Impala rebuild

Hey y'all. I am new to this kind of thing, but I need some help/answers. Writing in from SE Iowa(Burlington)...I have a frame that probably should be dipped before sandblasting.(to get 44 years of dirt out of the frame rails) So, first- is there somewhere close that can do that for me? Second- I would really like to have this frame as smooth as possible before painting...how do you get all the little nooks and crannies sanded?(or is there some way to get aroung all that) I can be sometimes lazy. This is my very first rebuild of any kind, so it is a BIG learning experience for me...bad thing is, I already have my sights set on another car after I get done with this. Any help will be fine. Thanx! Tee-Roy

Sandblasting will clean it up nicely.........that will also get into the nooks and crannies.

Hey poncho, thanx for the help. I figured sandblasting will help, but how do you get the area in the boxed in part of the frame blasted? That is the hardes part. Then after primering the frame- how does a person go about getting into those pain in the you know what areas? Any help appriciated. Tee-Roy
