62 unibody

just picked up a 62 unibody f100 with a 400 modified problem is the solenoid is buzzing when I try to start it ? its getting current to the starter but no start? motor came out of a tarino wiring harness to its kinda ****ty thou............ will post pics later any info would be helpfull

cross the solenoid with a screw driver

grounds and connections

make sure all your battery connections are clean and tight, cables to sol and cable to starter, and a good ground strap from engine to frame. if the solenoid is on the fender inner apron that it is a good ground and apron is grounded. Old rusty vehicle can have a lot of poor connections,
